Fundraising University is proud to welcome Laurie Kelly as the newest franchise owner serving the South Shore of Massachusetts — bringing decades of leadership and a deeply personal passion for supporting student-athletes.
Laurie has spent nearly 30 years building and leading high-performing teams across the technology, SaaS, and consulting sectors, including senior leadership roles at PwC, Orbus Software, Ardoq, and MEGA International. Her expertise spans demand generation, marketing operations, brand leadership, and team development — but what truly sets Laurie apart is her commitment to people and purpose.
A Mission Rooted in Family, Loss, and Legacy
Laurie’s connection to Fundraising University is deeply personal. Her late husband, Ken Kelly, was a beloved youth l football coach who made a profound impact on his community. After his unexpected passing, Laurie founded the Ken Kelly Memorial Scholarship Foundation, which has since raised over $300,000 to support local students.
That work funded a new high school scoreboard, provided scholarships, and strengthened the very community her family has always been part of.
As a single mom of two student-athletes (ages 18 and 20), Laurie also understands firsthand the financial challenges schools and families face. Her son will play lacrosse at Duke next year — another chapter that keeps her connected to the athletic community.
