Paul Hicks is the North Carolina Representative for Fundraising University. Paul graduated from Dixon High School in 1998 where he played soccer, football, basketball, and baseball. Hicks was a 3 sport athlete in college football, soccer and baseball at Liberty University and finishing up at UNC a Pembroke. Graduating from UNCP in 2003 and earning his BS in Exercise Science and Physical Education, he then started his teacher and coaching career in Winston Salem, NC. Paul has been a Physical Education Teacher at Moore Magnet Elementary for 15 years. He just recently stepped down as soccer coach at Ronald Reagan High School in Pfafftown, NC where he led them to 5 conference championships, 9 state playoff appearances including the schools first and only 4-A State Champion in 2014.
Paul has worked with Fundraising University for 8 years first at a coach at Ronald Reagan High School, and experienced the awesome service and professionalism that Fundraising University offered to his program. Year in and year out Fundraising U gave Hicks the financial freedom to support his program and bring it to one of the top programs in the state.
Hicks was given the opportunity to work for Fundraising University in 2015. He has loved working with sports programs across NC, leading them to see the benefits of running fundraisers the same way coaches run their teams on the field. Taking his personal experiences of being on both sides of fundraising and as a Rep, Paul looks forward to continuing his relationships with colleagues and making new connections in North Carolina.
Paul is married to his best friend Alison, they have two boys Gray 6 and Walker 4.
