Nick and Patti Thompson were born and raised in the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma metro area originally.  They have lived in Lubbock, Texas for the past five years and have grown to love the West Texas lifestyle!  They have three sons: Nolan-13, Peyton-9, and Dixon-9.  Nolan plays basketball and football; and the twins play basketball and baseball.

Nick graduated from Yukon High School in Oklahoma and received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2006.  He recently moved on from a 13-year career with the Cintas Corporation where he achieved five promotions during his tenure with the company.  He received several awards for health and safety performance, growth, and peak performance during this time.

Patti graduated from Northwest Classen High School in Oklahoma City and received a Bachelor’s in General Studies from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2005.  She is an executive board member on two PTAs as well as an elementary substitute teacher; and really enjoys working with kids.

Sports are a major part of the Thompson family.  They attend multiple athletic events throughout the year and are avid sports fans.  They are season ticket holders with three different collegiate programs.  They also annually attend multiple amateur and pro sporting events.  Their favorite sporting events; however, are those that their three boys are participating in.  Nick played various sports throughout his youth including baseball, football, and basketball.  He originally was working on his teaching degree in order to be a high school speech teacher and football coach, but made the decision to switch to business administration.  This opportunity to work with Fundraising University is an amazing chance to get back to his original goal of working with high school student athletes and also utilize the various leadership and sales skills attained during his professional career.
